Yes, you can sign up for free and use all of our FREE tools 'Match Wall' and 'Flirt Wall'. Soul2Match generates an income from advertisements and small subscription fees for extras. These are necessary to keep our servers running, improve our service and do fun stuff.
The design of the website looks a bit old fashioned, how is this possible?
For optimal performance of the Soul2Match website you should always install the latest version of your web browser. Soul2Match uses the latest technologies that are available, but not all web browsers support these latest technologies and will use its most common settings. This sometimes creates old fashioned designs.
I want to log in, but my login and/or password is not recognized.
Please ensure that you are using your correct details. If the error remains, use the 'forgot password' button and you will receive a new password.
Forget password does not work. My user name is not recognized, how is this possible?
Are you sure you used the correct username? We distinct Caps and Small Caps. Still not working? Please register again with a new name.
I tried to contact my match on the Flirt Wall, but I couldn't send him a message.
If you wish to contact your match, you have to register first and become a Message Member.
I sent a message to my match, but I did not receive any message back. How is this possible?
It is up to your match to respond on your message. Probably your match is no longer available for a flirt or is looking for an even better match.
I received a message! Can I reply on a message for FREE?
Yes, if you are the receiver, you can reply for FREE! We aim to connect our users and this way we enlarge your chances to get in contact with your soul mate.
I would like to contact my match. How can I contact him/her?
You have to become a Messaging Member to be able to send messages to Soul2Match users you have matched to. This way we aim to reduce the number of unsolicited approaches and spare you possible SPAM attacks by third parties. You can become a Messaging Member by starting to send a message or on your My Profile page by selecting Messaging Member.
What type of photo will give the best results?
High resolution JPEG files will give you best results (but not larger than 5 MB file size). We do however accept PNG and GIF format files and lower resolutions, but these to not bring the optimal results. Furthermore we advise you to apply ID Photo rules as stated by the government. You can find them here: Photo Guide
I do not want to show my Key Photo on the Flirt Wall, what should I do?
Please upload a Profile Photo on the My Profile page that is different from your Key Photo. Your Key photo, or ID photo, will only be available after matching. This way you and the matched person can check if it is really you in the profile photo.
Soul2Match distinct two types of photo's (for registered users), being Key Photos and Profile Photos.
KEY PHOTO FOR MATCHING
The Key Photo, or ID Photo, is only used to match your compatibility and your Key Photo is not visible to other users until after matching. The US Government has set rules for the best ID Photos: Photo Guide.
What it comes down to is that only an ID Photo is good enough for a realistic compatibility indication. A good ID Photo meets the following conditions:
Will people outside Soul2Match see my Key Photo or Profile Photo?
Only registered Soul2Match users will see your Profile Photo. And your Key Photo will not be visible to other Soul2Match users until after matching.
What is the difference between the Key Photo and Profile Photo?
A Key Photo is used for matching. Only Key Photos, or ID Photos, give a reliable matching result. Your Profile photo can be uploaded on the My Profile page. This photo will only be shown on the Flirt Wall (after login) and when sharing a match.
How do I link a photo to match with?
Paste the URL of the photo you wish to match in the area of the Link photo pop-up. You can open it when clicking ‘Link photo’ on the Match Wall or Home page.
My previous Key Photo was only 5 years old but gave other results, how is this possible?
Make sure you use a recent photo to get accurate results, as your key features may change. In case only one of the partners has changing features, they can 'grow' out of a relationship and match to new soul mates. This is why some people have different soul mates during their life. On the other side, studies indicate that strongly homogeneous people can 'adopt' each other’s features when they are living close together and become even stronger in their relationship.
I receive different results when using photos of myself, how is this possible?
Only an ID Photo from the same time frame will give identical results. Your face will chance along with your experience and hormones. This can be read by our tool and generates the difference in matching results.
I have a compatibility of under 100% between two identical photos of myself. How is this possible?
It is likely that the quality or resolution from one of the pictures was very poor. Exposure is also of great influence. Please check Photo Guide for instructions.
Does it matter if I smile in my photo?
The Soul2Match engine is programmed to make a match from ID Photos. Mild smiles are fine, but for optimal results we advise you to use an ID Photo. Please check Photo Guide for instructions.
What is a soul mate?
Wikipedia definition: A soul mate or soul mate is a person with whom one has a feeling of deep and natural affinity, love, intimacy, sexuality, spirituality, and/or compatibility. A related concept is that of the twin flame or twin soul – which is thought to be the ultimate soul mate, the one and only other half of one's soul, for which all souls are driven to find and join, so-called shared values.
Studies indicate that people with shared values have longer lasting and happier relationships. The highest ranking for soul mate love according to us is ‘twin flame’ (see also table: Compatibility Match Percentages).
Are interracial soul mates possible?
Yes there are. A good example is the famous singer John Lennon, from the British pop group The Beatles. He is 100% British and after a wild rock star life, he married his 100% Japanese soul mate Yoko Ono. At that time, nobody understood why he married a Japanese woman. Finally with the Soul2Match software we can indicate that they shared the same key features.
Is it possible to have more than one soul mate?
This is mathematically possible. There are over 6,5 billion people in the world, and depending on your job, social life, etc. you may only meet 10,000 different persons in your lifetime.
I have a very high match, is this person my soul mate?
There is a strong indication that this person is your soul mate.
Can other users see my matches?
No, other users cannot see your matches. The other users can only see how many times they have matched. You can however share your match to inform them of your match! Just click ‘Share’ and follow the steps.
I have been happily married for more than twenty years with someone, but according to your website we have a compatibility of only 5%. How is this possible? Is that a bad sign?
There is no good or bad. Love goes in mysterious ways. Based on facial analysis Soul2Match generates an objective compatibility rating. The majority prefers a soul mate relationship and others prefer a type of relationship with less shared values, like an opposite relationship. We are only here to help you distinguish them.
Since you have been happily married for more than 20 years in an opposite relationship, indicates that you prefer an opposite relationship. This means the 5% compatibility is an excellent rating for you.
I am just an ordinary person. How come that I have such high compatibility rates?
You may have hidden beauty; we would refer to as the 'White Swan Effect'. Scientific studies tempt to say that the average is a major beauty feature. Average people have average key features, which match a wider range of faces. That is why ordinary people can be very attractive to a wider variation of people and will give them a higher compatibility rating.
Is a soul mate match not a kind of Narcissism or ego trip?
According to science it is not. Humans do not match 1:1, but only on a number of facial features in a mathematical equation. An example of a key feature is testosterone, which gives a strong facial and social indication (see also: www.physorg.com/news140703687.html for more information).
In the New Scientist Bill Amos, from Cambridge University, points out that human may be cushioned against the adverse effects of inbreeding.
In our exponentially expanding global population, the effects of inbreeding are minimized. The desire for someone who looks like your father becomes a good strategy because if you have reached the stage of choosing a mate, your father was obviously good at producing you.
What types of relationships are there?
In general there are three types of relationships, and every relationship has one predominant type.
A. The strongest relation type is the appearance of a person (which Soul2Match is based on).
B. The second strongest relation type is the genetic code, which can be deciphered in the smell of our body sweat.
C. The weakest is the social status and circumstance.
Each of those are grounds to start a relationship with a person. Appearance and smell gives the most objective information about a person as social status can be deceptive.

Will my friends notice when I try to match or flirt with them?
You can flirt virtually to everybody and nobody will notice, because your matching results won't be shared without your permission.
What does a high score actually mean?
A high compatibility score means that, based on science, you are highly compatible with the person you have matched yourself to.
On which facial points do you match?
We match around 1,000 key points which covers the complete face. Specifically designed algorithms are used to compute the compatibility and generate the matching rate.
Can I check if I have an opposite relationship?
If you have a very low compatibility, which will show in a low matching percentage, you will have an opposite relationship.
Can I check if I am an opposites or soul mate person?
Soul2Match only measures the compatibility between the structural features of two different faces. You have to decide for yourself what type of relationship you would like.
How does your matching tool work?
Our highly advanced matching tool is based on a range of scientific research documents and advanced facial recognition biometrical software, similar to those used by the CIA to recognize criminals or biometric security systems used to enter highly secured buildings.
On top of this we have designed several specific algorithms to compute the compatibility between two persons, based on the provided photos.
Does age influence a match?
Yes. Over time our face, body and mind change due to a range of factors. This means that you may match to someone with 80% now that will only match 70% in a few years.
Is it possible to check whether I am an opposite or soul mate person?
Soul2Match measures the compatibility between the structural features of two different faces. When you are in good relations with your partner, but receive a low score you probably like to be in an opposite relationship. We cannot tell you what type of relationship you like, only what type of relationship you are in. You have to decide for yourself what type of relationship you prefer.
I tried to upload a photo, but it did not upload! What should I do?
Please make sure that the photo is either not too small or too large.
Upload requirements:
- Minimum size 200 x 200 pixels (60KB)
- Maximum size 1200 x 1200 pixels (1,5 MB).
Furthermore the website only accepts photos that are in JPEG, PNG or GIF format. For best results we advice to use a high quality JPEG file.
I want to share my compatibility result with my friend(s), how can I do this?
Please use our social media links, or download the match results and send them by email. We use the service of AddThis.com to enable you to share your results. Should you have any problems or miss a website to share it to, please contact AddThis.com for further queries.

I have sent a message to a match I made, but I do not get a response. Did it arrive?
Well, this is a hard one… he or she might not feel like responding. All we know for sure is that we have delivered it to the match you sent it to, because this is a closed system. We suggest you to try and send another message that has a triggering text.
I have registered but did not receive the confirmation email, how is this possible?
Be sure to check your SPAM FOLDER first and add soul2match.com to your safe senders list. Most likely you will have found the confirmation email. If not, send us an email.
What does it mean when I change my availability?
You do not have to unsubscribe when you have found your true love. You can for instance set your status to 'unavailable' so you are no longer available for other people on the FlirtWall. This way you can still use the MatchWall and check your compatibility with celebrities, family and friends. 'Unavailable' only means that your photo is no longer available on the FlirtWall. As soon as you are available you can set it to ‘available’ again and you are instantly able to start matching on the FlirtWall again.
